Certified EMDR Therapist Dallas

Ashley Klein, LPC, LCDC, NCC

Ashley Klein, EMDR therapist in Dallas

For over 15 years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people move past what is keeping them stuck, whether this involves trauma, PTSD/complex PTSD, dissociative disorders, and/or addiction. Offering trauma-focused, culturally competent mental health care to clients of all identities is my passion.

If you feel disconnected from yourself, disconnected from loved ones, or struggle with panic attacks, anxiety, depression, or waves of sadness, I’m ready to offer a new path forward, even if you’ve tried therapy before.

Why Did You Decide to Become a Therapist?

I went through my own struggles and had treatment and therapy, so I wanted to be able to give back to others like I was helped. My empathy comes from a place of understanding, and I strive to be the same kind of therapist I had who makes their clients feel welcome and respected.

Where Did You Study?

I earned a master’s degree in professional Mental Health Counseling from an accredited program at Grand Canyon University, and I am an EMDRIA (EMDR International Association) certified EMDR therapist. I’m also a member of the American Counseling Association, EMDR International Association, International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, and the Texas Counseling Association.

Outside of the Office, What Do You Like to Do?

When I’m not spending time with my son or daughter, I love doing anything outdoors—hiking, walking, camping, riding ATVs, whitewater rafting, you name it! As a Dallas native, I’ve been riding and walking around White Rock Lake for over 40 years. I do barre class several times a week, and I also LOVE movies. While I don’t have a favorite, I usually like anything from the 80s.
